A new flare for destruction of VOCs (organic volatile compounds) of 2.6 m in diameter, total stainless steel, is being manufactured. It will be installed in a maritime terminal and the basic design of the emissions was also elaborated by our company. It will operate at 1000oC with residence time greater than 0.5 seconds, will have a continuous oxygen analyzer and stages to accommodate the flow variations.
